Worst Zombie aka Junk Debt Buyers (Bottom Feeders)

 Some typical unacceptable practices by junk debt buyers include pursuing debts that are not actually owned by the consumer; harassment or verbal abuse; multiple listings of the same debt on credit reports; and attempting to collect a debt that has passed it's statute of limitations.

Most bottom feeders use the practice of "re-aging" debts which means that they report it to credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Trans Union, and Experian) as more recent than it is to ruin your credit.  This raises the interest rate you pay on credit cards & the cost of your car insurance.

Never make a "good faith" payment on any zombie debt!  This is an old trick bottom feeders use to trick consumers because it resets the statute of limitations & the 7 year clock.

"Good faith" payments are also a sneaky way bottom feeders gain access to your bank account - so they can garnish it at a later date.
